Education Research & Data Associate
We are hiring a School Data Collector to support the development of a national online school directory. This role involves researching, verifying, and documenting detailed school information across Kenya through online sources and direct communication with schools.
This is a short-term, contract-based role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with structured data and phone-based verification.

Is confident making professional phone calls to schools
Can accurately collect and verify structured information
Is comfortable working independently and meeting daily/weekly targets
Can handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Is organized and able to follow clear data definitions and guidelines
Bonus :
Experience in data collection, research, surveys, or admin work
Familiarity with Kenya’s education system
Experience using Notion, spreadsheets
What You’ll Be Doing
Research schools online using websites, directories, and social platforms
Call schools to confirm or complete missing information
Collect structured data including:
School profile, academic structure, fees, facilities, transport, catering
Extracurricular activities, scholarships, intake cycles, and pathways
Enter verified data into a centralized database
Flag incomplete or conflicting information for follow-up
Submit regular progress updates and summaries
